The Digital Detox Project provides an approach for children/teens and their parents to truly understand how to both unplug and experience the benefits that digital disconnection brings AND create a healthy relationship with technology in our educational, social and private lives. Teens and parents can enjoy our public workshops or we can tailor them for presentation at schools. Based on neuroscience and cyber-psychology and with a holistic approach to establishing and maintaining new habits, the workshops include mindful practice, reflection and a "6 ways to Unleash your Cyber Super Power" guide.
The benefits are clear increased creativity, efficiency and resilience, improved sleep, enhanced empathy, deeper gratitude, personal growth, and - the most important for many - more inclusive, respectful relationships and greater authenticity - on and off line.
